Randomness

They girls found a box of cake mix in the pantry and decided that they HAD to make this cake for Dad. He NEEDED this cake...so we did. They added their own lovely toppings and candle. They decided to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" when I lit the candle.

Daddy & his girls.

Ella wanted her OWN pic by the cake.

They were so proud & excited to show their Daddy.

Then they got silly.....maybe from all the sugar???

Cracking up.

The cast is OFF!!!

This was the X-ray taken today, 3 weeks from date of injury. It still looks fractured but there is a light line of calcium building up/healing. By 3 months the bones will be 100% back to normal. She still has some bruising but the doctor said it's normal. Still no gymnastics, and she has to wear the splint at preschool, park, etc. But otherewise she is doing great!

So happy.

Nudie Remi

One of her favorite things to do these days is lay naked after her bath. She will talk and smile (even though she looks so serious in these pics) forever.

Harper's accident

This is one of Harper's X-rays. At the top of the 2 wrist bones you can see how the smooth lines of each bone is cracked. Those are the fractures. They are on the distal radius & ulna.

Soooooooo she was outside yesterday running down the sidewalk, with her shoes on the wrong feet, and tripped over our neighbors Christmas tree on the curb....off we go to the ER. Getting admitted to CHOC hospital...

Super cool bracelet...even has her name on it (she couldn't believe it).

After 4 hours in the ER waiting room, the x-rays came back confirming the fractures. She left with the splint and will go to the orthopedic
doctor on Tuesday (swelling will be down) to cast it. Poor Harp.

Aquarium Day

Trying to touch the stingrays....

Touched 'em!!!!

What a fun day at the aquarium.

Buster, Bussy, Brownie, Browns, Bad dog

I didn't want to leave Buster out of my blog. He is a good boy. Love.

Ella's haircut...@#*#!

Do I really need words to describe this?
I had to take Remi to the doctor...so PK was in charge of Ella & Harper. When I came home this is what I saw. Ella was in her playroom watching a movie and she said her hair was in her eyes...so she got into her craft box, found her scissors, and cut whatever hair was blocking her view of the movie.....that's not it. Then she said the down blanket she was using was also blocking the view so she cut that too. Feathers EVERYWHERE. Really neat. I asked her to look in the mirror and see what she did to her hair. She said she really thought it looked "cool", and I needed to relax, AND she will never, ever do it again. I've locked up the scissors.

Remi's 3 months!!!

Remi is 3 months old!

Time is really going by quickly with Remi. She is now 3 months old and doing great. Eating every 3-4 hours, and sleeping 6 hours (11:30pm-5:30am) at night. That might not last but we are enjoying it while we can! She loves all her toys; the play mat, entertainment saucer, and jump-a-roo. She also loves when the girls put on a puppet show for her (hilarious!). She is still NOT a fan of the car. As soon as her car seat "clicks" into the car she starts to scream...and scream...I REALLY hope she grows out of that! Otherwise she is a happy & healthy baby. Wooohooo.
