38 Weeks...

38 weeks!

I had my 38 week "check up" Friday and I'm 1 cm dilated and 40% effaced. My belly is measuring 38cm and baby's heart rate was 153 bpm. The nurse also said baby is head down. Now it's just a waiting game...1 more day, 1 more week, 2 more weeks...???

The baby is approx. 6 3/4 pounds and 20 inches long. All the baby's organs are matured and ready for life outside the womb.

Ella had her third game today. Ladybugs VS Strawberry Cupcakes. The ladybugs won...so far they are undefeated! Good game girls!

37 Weeks...

The girls ask me EVERY DAY "when is the baby coming out?"

At 37 weeks the baby is weighing in at 6 1/2 pounds and is over 19 inches long.

Ella had her second AYSO game today against the "Pink Mermaids". They played so well. The won 10-0. Go Little Ladybugs!

We decided to pick Harper up at Preschool today in the "jeep".

They were giggling the whole way home.

We made a quick stop at the park.

36 Weeks...

At 36 weeks the baby is about 6 pounds and adding an ounce of weight a day. The length of the baby is almost 19 inches. By the end of this week I will be considered "full term" and baby can come safely at any moment!

Baby Shower

On Sunday Kara and my Mom through me a baby shower. It was so wonderful to see family and friends. I think it's settling in that there is a little one on the way....VERY soon! Thanks to Kara & Mom for all your hard work. Everything was GREAT!

Ella's soccer team "The Ladybugs" did AWESOME for their first game Saturday. They won 12-1! They play 4 quarters at 5 minutes each with a 10 minute half time. The teams are made up of 5 girls but the games are played "3 on 3". It's so fun to watch.
